I am coming, I am coming,
With my carpet soft and green;
I have spread it o'er the common,
And a prettier ne'er was seen.

Soon I'll spangle it with clover,
And the dandelions bright;
You shall pick them in your aprons,
Yellow, red, and snowy white.

I am coming, and the tree-tops,
That all winter were so bare,
You shall see, with small leaves covered,
Wave their branches in the air.

I am coming! Little children,
Can you tell me who am I?
If not, you ...Read more of post

For fans of tradition who want to try something extra fun this Easter, transform a store-bought carrot cake into a bunny-approved artwork with nothing more than decorative icing! Here's how to do it:

The table is set for a beautiful Sunday Supper with our Bargello dinner service. This charming pattern has a contemporary vibrancy and versatility that belies its antique origins, adapted from English porcelain, circa 1810. Like the needlework for which it is named, it combines random dashes of red, green, blue, yellow, orange and magenta is a geometric patchwork enhanced by 22 carat gold lines.

Two ducks pose in their feathery finest with alternating colors of yellow, green, brown and terracotta fishnet offset by dramatic gold highlights. Their coy expression could be attributed to the fact that they know a secret: the logs they are sitting on aren't real. Herend's artists have done a masterful job painting in the faux bois style and only a close inspection reveals the true porcelain composition.

This feathered beauty was a shy resident, preferring to hop around behind the cover of leaves and branches, but the neighborhood got to know it nonetheless through its daily songs. When Mother Nature awakens in the spring and restores the bird's sanctuary, the village knows the bird's lullabies will soon ...Read more of post
